Hi,

I have seen some flooring/matting the plastic grid type used in large superstores etc. that would be ideal for putting outside a tent/tt. Not only would it be good for wiping your feet on but it is also thick enough to allow the ground to breathe and would also stop that muddy patch from forming were the door is. The only problem is I have looked on the net and its mainly used for heath & safety flooring and is very expensive.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Darren

What about the stuff I just bought in a caravan shop in Hurst Green in East Sussex.  It looks a bit like that stuff that you roll out to make a path in a garden but is a bit softer.  Sorry can't remember the name of it.  Of course the roll out pathway sold by many caravan camping outlets and garden outlets will do the job too.  You can cut it to the size you want and have plenty to spare or leave it as a long pathway to your door!   I can feel a song coming on  'the long and winding road ........'.

I've got a couple of holey mats that I got in the Pound shop that I use in the doorway.

If you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, just keep going till you go round the bend.

you can use an astroturf doormat - you can get them cut to size from B&Q you can shake them out and run them under the tap , they dont dry the wet -but they take off mud and grass
