Hi. Getting a 2011 Fiesta Q2 shortly. Just wondered if anyone keeps a portable toilet in one of the cupboards so it can be used at night in the trailer? Is the cupboard easily adapted? Do you know the dimensions so I could look for a suitable sized toilet?
Thanks.
Hi if the cupboards are like the ones in our sterling they won't be anywhere near big enough. Our loo lives in the awning, or when we don't use the awning it tucks underneath the camper during the day.
When we are travelling the loo sits just inside the door of the camper.
We do have a toilet tent from our days tent camping but haven't used it with the camper. No reason why you couldn't though.
Thanks for the reply. However I am not going to be using an awning for most of time which is why I was hoping to store a loo in one of the cupboards (for use during the night). I thought I had read somewhere that a cupboard was converted so that a loo could be fitted in but not sure of cupboard size at this moment in time to find out if a compatible sized loo is available to buy.
Hi if you have bed skirts with your camper then leave it outside under the beds during the day and bring it inside at night that's what we do if we don't use the awning
We keep ours under the bed skirts by day and just bring it in at night. Use site WCs by day. I made a sliding curtain with a cheap shower curtain and old aluminium awning pole.
You could cover it with a piece of board and curtain around it with a plant pot on top. Or make a handy stool.
