Has anybody had a problem with the sink in the toilet of the Pathfinder.  On our last trip we noticed that where the sink is attached to the back board where the sink pulls down, it has developed a crack.

We have contacted Pennine about this they said they they would phone us back with the part number, but they haven't my husband will contact them again tomorrow.  I feel that this is a fault in the manufacture as it is a 2001 fc and it has been carefully treated.

Has this happened to anybody elses camper and if so how have you dealt with it.

Can't find any part number on the site but my husband is going to speak to them again.  I will keep you posted with the result.

We love our Pathfinder, but I do feel that we have been a bit unlucky with it.  On the second trip out it flooded.  We found that where the pipe goes into the tank under the seat there should have been a serrated piec inside the conector to hold it in place, this was missing and the pipe fell out.  The missing part was sent to us by Pennine and the dealer we bought the camper from noted it incase any floor damaged appeared at a later date.

Also within th first year when the beds are opened out, the locking nut on one side hadn't locked and it pulled out and gouged the side.  We had a terrible job getting it down again.  We took it back to the dealer and he rectified it for us.

Now the problem with the sink.  I do feel that we have had more than our fair share of problems.

Has anybody else else experience problems with new Pathfinders or have we been unlucky.  I still love it and don't regret for one minute purchasing a Pathfinder.

Goodness, you do seem to have been very unlucky with your unit. We certainly have had no similar problems with ours, and I have never heard any other such tales of woe!

Our only problem was of my own making - I let the wardrobe slip when packing up, and although it fell only a few inches, it was enough to break the mirror. I obtained a replacement quickly, and without any difficulty and fitted it easily.

It would seem that my seven years bad luck has somehow been transferred to you, for which I can only apologise!!

I've just bought a Pathfinder.  After picking it up from the dealer decided to have a few days away to try it out.  As I've always been used to camping a lot of the information given to me at collection was old hat but there was an awful lot to take in too.

Trying to remember everything setting up on site - I was very pleased with having done everything and all seemed to be working properly.  When my daughter washed up later that day there was water everywhere so I assumed that she'd left everything to dry and it dripped down the side of the sink unit.  On closer inspection the plug was in the lower drainage unit in the sink and it overflowed - how embarrassed was I when explaining to my daughter that it wasn't her washing up skills that caused the minor flood. I hope it hasn't caused any lasting damage!

I've not had any other problems so far but as a novice Pathfinder owner I'm grateful for any little hints and tips all you experienced folk might pass on!

Thanks for all your posts on here regardings sinks.  So far we have had no problems with the kitchen sink overflowing, but I will certainly bear in mind the problems when I empth the bowl in future.

We have contacted Pennine and have been told that they have only ever seen one like ours before.  We have been told to put our complain in writing to them, which we will do but we have also been told to try sticking it with super glue.  We will try that next weekend to see if it will hold it.  If it does, as long as we have the complaint in writing,  should it get any worse or reoccur they may change it, we have been told possibly at cost. (labour free) but it will mean quite a long trip to Wigan.
