Hi ,the most common fault is a bad or corroded connection at the camper plug or car socket.First thing is to make sure you have the signals coming from the car.You can use a get a trailer tester or if you know someone else with a trailer check your car with their trailer.
Hi there seems to be a fault with the connecter at the back of the car I've looked at the wireing and nothing seems lose but I tried my car on my m8s caravan and everything works but the indicators We also fitted a new plug on the camper ? Just can't understand why it's not working when all the wires are connected and there's no corrosion on camper plug or car socket???
Soemtimes a couple of sprays with WD40 and firm push and 'wiggle' will make the connection. If that doesn't work, then probability is that it's in the wiring or where the wires connect to the plug/socket.
Hi , I had a 99 cruiser, the fuse box was to protect the 240v sockets and charger ,also the 12v light pump and socket ,the supplies from the indicators tail lights ect come from the car .Like Kelper says it is usually the plug to socket connections not quite making contact.Plug in and give it a wiggle and firm push while someone is at the back to see if they are intermitantly working.I had a problem with 1 indicator sometimes not working .I just changed the plug and socket and its fine
Hi I've checked the side compartment in the back of my 07 vw Passat and there's a block with a w shape fuse in it 15 amp it's not blown so it's not the fuse ?????? This is turning into a real mystery
There's probably 20 or 30 fuses in the car so you really need to check which one it is for each circuit. However if indicators and brake lights don't work there will be more than one fuse involved if it is a fuse failure.
You really need to get a multi-meter from Maplins or similar and check where you have voltage and where not. You can download a diagram of which pins do each circuit on the plug and socket and start checking there.
Check the car socket to prove there are volts on the right pins. Then take the covers off the camper lights and check there are volts there as well.

hi I've got a 1998 Conway cruiser
I can't get indicates or brake lights to work , is there a fuse box hidden somewhere I can't seem to find one
Are the indicators and break lights working only, or does the tail lights not work either?. If all three don't work, you are looking for a broken earth somewhere.
