we have a 2002 pathfinder and camp all year round in it. we normally use a small heater for the chilly nights however we have started to take our small granddaughter with us, we are thinking of putting a plinth heaterin it , is there a make that just needs putting a plug on it or is it harder than that
Most are called plinth heaters and are usually fitted under the base cupboards in kitchens in houses.
This type of thing. This one even has a remote control for when you're in bed. You might want to look for one with 2 heat setting say 1kw and 2kw for when on EHU and try and check how noisy they are. Quiet in a kitchen may be very noisy in a camper at night.
hi tinytina, we just use a electric panel heater about £20 with 2 heat settings, 750w & 1200watts, we find the low setting takes the chill off at night, don"t need to go to the expense of a plinth heater, as the previous thread says it could be too noisy at night, just stand the panel heater nr the door and it wil keep the child as warm as toast,
We have used an oil filled rad ... very cheap, noiseless, and can be left on all day/night at variety of temps. found it extremely good ... and can be used in the house when not in the camper.
