Not surprising that you can't find one, as the only thing correct in the advert appears to be the year.
It isn't a Conway, as all, nothing like. Blatantly an American import, as they are pretty distinctive. It is, in fact, a Starcraft Starflyer 1706 XL. If you Google that, I'm sure you'll be able to find something on it, as Starcraft are one of the most prolific manufacturers in the US (although they are now part of Jayco).
The Starflyer 1706 was manufactured in the early 80's, so that date does, at least, look correct.
The main reason you wont see many in the UK is that they are not cost effective to import, as they require too much modification to use in this country. Many need over run brakes fitted, as the legislation in the US isn't as tight as it is here, their rear lights aren't UK legal, and their mains electrics are 110V, so need converting to run in the UK, and, hence, limited models over here.
You do see a few around, though, and there is, at least, one company in the UK that specialises in the American imports.
------------- The one good thing about being wrong is the joy it brings to others..
