Arrived in Cherbourg from Rosslare, this morning ... then drove down to west of Angers, where we store our camper.
Had it serviced by a local garage this year ... two new Michelin tyres plus all the required wheel, brakes etc ... not electric or gas (I do that myself).... all came to 168 euros ... about 135 squids ... pretty good, I reckon.
Temperature was 38.5 C at 3 pm!
Then towed the Pullman up to Bonneval (north of Tours) ... lovely campsite ... tested the all new rig (New Passat estate this year ... plus the French service and tyres) ... smooth as silk at 80 mph on the motorways ... the vaguest of shivers passing attics ... but quickly damped courtesy of Alco.
Very happy with it all.

Yep providing you keep tyre pressures and loading correct for combined unit weight you will be fine.
I know you should not tow above 60 here but have tried my towing setup at higher speeds, just to see what affects you get, this is in case I have to if a certain situation develops, eg overtaking an artic on a dual carriageway an emergency vehicle appears wanting to get past.
I have a zafira towing a Trigano Olympe and not had any issues with it.

Lol arctics or articulated lorrys. I do the same with my car when it snows for he first time, find some where quiet and have a play to get used to how me and the car react
