Hello all, need a quick (hopefully) question answered. I'm only asking as our camper is currently stored too far away for me to pop out and measure
We picked up the above camper last week. Amongst other little jobs, I need to change the gas regulator from Campingaz to Calor. Whilst doing so I thought the hose might as well be replaced too.
Bearing in mind I have not seen the camper since last weekend, and would like to do the job next weekend, does anyone know how long a hose I'll need to buy?
Thank you

Thought it was a bit of a long shot, to find someone who knew the answer. Not to worry though, will have to take a measure with me next weekend and hopefully get the bits to fit it the following weekend

a 2m hose is only £4.99 from the calor shop, i'd go with 2m as it should be plenty and may even give you enough if becomes damaged later down the line.
------------- Give a man a fish and he'll feed his family for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he'll sit around on a boat all day drinking beer!
Found 2M hose, regulator and a pair of jubilee clips on ebay for around £8. That was plenty long enough for our old Aztec, and I am hoping it will be for the Cruiser too.
Just don't feel 100% certain and would hate to have to buy another longer hose for the sake of guess work being a foot or two short

We brought her home last night, wow what a tight fit into the garage! Didn't get round to changing gas hose, but not to worry, we are away in her next weekend, so it will get done then.
Next 'silly' question is, I don't recall seeing any 'tarps' for covering the bed areas when packing up in the wet. Whilst I do appreciate that Conways fold differently to the Pennines we've had before, but there's still the potential of wet canvas on beds. Before I go buying something, or finding out the hard way, does it need a waterproof barrier, or am I just being over cautious?

hi maybe a bit late but yes a good idea to cover beds if canvas is wet. you just drop the pods and then place the tarp on top.don't know if you realise you can leave the pods and roof linning in place when you fold camper away.
Cheers for that Tony, we have previously owned both a Pennine Sterling and an Aztec, both of which had a waterproof sheet 'built in'. Haven't yet seen one in the Cruiser.
Thanks also for answering one of the next questions, the people we bought it from not only unhooked both bedroom pods, but also took down the main cabin lining before folding her away - I assume the roof liner can also be left in place?
