Just looking for some advice. I have a 59 plate c4 grand picasso i think i should be able to tow something like a conway crusader.

Would be looking for one second hand and would need a towbar fitted.

Anywhere in dorset i could have a look at one in the flesh?

And if tempted anywhere i could have a towbar fitted at short notice 😊

Don't think there are any FC dealers in Dorset but try Highbridge Caravans near Burnham on Sea we got our FC from there. Very Knowledgeable. As for towbar fitting there are a plethora of people in Dorset inc mobile fitting

i bought a conway crusader approx 3 months ago from Burcroft Camping which is near Northampton. Id recommend them as we got an excellent deal. I knew what I wanted but finding it is another thing.

From what I can tell, there are 3 dealers in the UK, Northampton, Kent and Lancashire

All the dealers list on ebay and have websites so if youre reluctant to travel, then id suggest the internet is a good starting point

Towbars can be fitted at most Garages

When we were in Dorset in 2012 we popped into Campers and Leisure who had a few in. It's on the A31 at St Leonards. Have you looked on eBay or Gumtree to see there are any privately in your area you could go and see?

Can't help with tow bar but there are mobile fitters around.

Thanks for the replies leaving Weymouth tomorrow morning if the Nevada m holds up to this wind lol so wont get a chance to call in think the tent has had its day maybe next year for a crusader unfortunately not much in Scotland

The Picasso should do OK with even the largest of Folding Campers, overall performance will depend largely on engine size and type, petrol or diesel.
