Hi we are new here we have just brought a 1994 Conway cruiser, it's our first folding camper &I its for our whole family including grandchildren & disabled daughter. We are wanting a bedroom annexe for the awning & the only one we have found so far is a 1997 one. Does anyone know if this would fit a 1994 Conway cruiser? We are looking for 2 bedroom annexes but one will suffice for now if that's all we can find but we don't know if the size is the same.

Many thanks Craig & Vicky

You could always get a universal awning inner tent - does what it says on the tin, hangs from awning roof poles, and pegs into ground providing a bedroom inside your awning.

Ok it's not perfect as it uses up a chunk of your awning, but at around £30 or less, it's a great temporary fix

It might not fit!!

A 1994 Conway Cruiser folding camper had a slightly smaller awning width than a 1997 one. This could affect the annex zipping in size. The length of the awning was only the same for both years. I am sure someone will let you know.

I'd go for the awning inner tent aswell to start with. It can be packed away under the bedboards during the day & brought out at night. We're planning to do that with our Countryman as we don't have removable panels to add an annex.

Thanks for your help really appreciate it. The awning extension we have seen is in TVS so we are going to ring them tomorrow. Weve booked our first weekend away on thrusday, so excited lol. We are a large family so already taking an inner for my youngest son but really need an extension for my eldest son & his fiance, think it might be too cramped with 2 inners. We are thinking of the universal extension but still not certain if that will fit :-(

I'm not sure if this means anything but when we got the awning out today on the label it saidAvent Cruiser 2000. Does the 2000 mean the year the awning was made? The awning is like new as its barely been used.

Ah, you didn't say you already have one inner. Two might work - assuming you still have clearance to open/close the door, and enter/exit the awning to the outside. Although I doubt you be able to use the awning for anything else!

hi i am almost sure the 94 model did not have removable side panels.so it sounds like the awning has been changed, but in saying that the colours would be different, between a 94 and a 2000.i could be wrong about the panels.
