Just noticed this thread, so apologies for the late reply.

The Honda Jazz is a tricky one, and we can't give general advice with models like this. There were at least 11 different 1.4 manual Jazz's in production at that time. Some were rated to tow, and, crucially, some weren't, so you could end up illegal, just by fitting a tow bar.

Those 1.4s that were rated to tow were, rated at 450kg, for unbraked trailers and 1,000kg for braked trailers.

Most trailer tents are comfortably within the 450kg limit, but, as the legal requirement to have brakes fitted doesn't kick in until 750kg, you would need to make sure you kept to the smaller TTs. Otherwise, potentially, if you were to tow one weighing 500kg, without brakes, you could be illegal, straight away. Not a problem with a lot of TTs, but worth being aware of.

Of greater concern are those models that are not type approved to tow. These include the 1.4 i-VTEC EX 5d CVT and the 1.4 -VTEC EX Plus 5d CVT. It is illegal to tow even the smallest trailer with these, as they are not type approved for towing.

Before purchasing the Jazz (hoping you haven't already) then worth checking the specific model to see what it is, actually, rated to tow.

I tow my Conway Excel folding camper, which is a braked trailer, with a Fiat 500L Twin Air, with a 900cc twin cylinder engine (albeit with a turbo). I think it puts out about 100bhp?

I have no problems at all towing weight wise or power wise. You wouldn't know it is there.

we tow a Raclet Solena these are fantastic trailers and with the extension bedroom will sleep 4 in comfort one huge advantage of the Solena over some other units is the cabin area can be zipped off the lounge area which is perfect if someone wishes to get changed/washed etc.
These are so light too, our car is what we had when we had a caravan we are now in process of replacing it for something smaller such as Mini Clubman or Renault Megane Coupe both will tow with ease, we have 2 adults 2 teenage girls a Border Collie, we use 2 Thule Ranger 90 soft boxes on top of trailer and everything is stored either in these or inside the trailer and front box all we have in the car is ourselves dog and fridge
