As the title says really.

Been through tents, camper vans, nearly bought a folding camper and ended up with a caravan to now owning a trailer tent.

The caravan went when we moved to our new house which needs top to bottom modernisation, but the idea of no holidays became too much to stomach so bought myself a Sunncamp 400s acrylic.

Put the main unit up a couple of times on the drive to practise, seemed straight forward, now to sleep in it.

Off to Norfolk for the weekend but the forecast isn't looking great for Friday night, it'll either be a leave until Saturday morning job or might as well see if its watertight and sturdy. We are camping in a field next to the inlaws house so if all else fails...

I'm sure i'll be looking and asking for advice especially with what people pack in the trailer and i'm on the look out for a storage box to fit on the front.

Got a few trips planned over the summer so really looking forward to getting out and enjoying myself.

Hi, Good thing about Acrylic canvas is it dries so quickly. Even if weather isn't going to be too good you should only need about half an hour for it to be dry enough to pack away. Enjoy.

Welcome the forum is a goldmine of info.

Look for cabanon boxes too as they will fit but pricey for essential bit of plastic. I got ours for £120 with delivery and they show up on eBay from time to time. Some are priced sensibly others over £200-300.

You will find your own packing up method over time. Last year we discovered a new way of packing up due to torrential rain that only stopped as we departed !

Well, we put the tt up on Saturday afternoon once the rain had stopped and between me and the wife we were surprised how well it went up. Mattresses were comfy enough but toppers are on the shopping list.
Then was able to pack away in about an hour Sunday morning before the rain started again.
All in all pretty pleased with it. Have another go this coming Saturday without the awning as the 2 of us are at Whitstable festival for the night.
