Hi All, I have recently purchased a second hand Pennine Pullman 535 folding camper and currently cannot get the 13amp plug sockets to work that are under the seats.

Does anyone know if there is something I should be doing to make these work or anything I can check. The battery meter is showing in the green and indicates the leisure battery is okay and the light above the wardrobe also works when then switch is in 'van' mode. I have checked the circuit breakers under the seat and they are all on.

Any help appreciated. Thanks.

The battery won't drive 13 amp sockets ... you have to be plugged into an EHU source.

What Kelper said. lol. EHU will rn the 12V sockets (via the inbuilt transformer) but the battery won't work the 13A mains sockets.

If you did want to get 240V power from a battery, you would need to use an inverter.

Brilliant thanks Kelper and Blue Sky Pennine... that seems like a noob question and apologies for it, but thanks they are working now I've connected it up to the house power supply.

Don't worry pezza. My boss was a chartered engineer so you would think he'd have a bit of common sense. He rang me up at home early one Saturday morning to say he couldn't get the computer to work. After trying the more likely items I said have you switched it on at the wall. Yes he said.

Both of them I said. Have I got to turn them both on he said. Doh!
