Hi all. We are on holiday with our Trigano folding camper and last night the plug sockets stopped working. Then shortly after the light started flickering and eventually died. The fuse box gave off a little crackle as the red battery switch on it it flickered. Fuses seem ok and not tripped but we're now without power and have kids. There is no trip at the clubs feed. Any advice would be great. Thanks.
Panic over. We have asked the club to check the main feed and there was a fault with the socket because of the torrential downpour last night. Thankfully it wasn't our camper. Always pays to ask before fiddling.
You said in your first post... 'There is no trip at the clubs feed' which the problem turned out to be just that. That's why you didn't have any replies because I hadn't got a clue to the problem either.

A faulty socket where, on the hook up post that you plug the mains cable into? The OP said it wasn't the camper so I took it was related to the club's feed to the campsite.

Thanks guys in answer to your posts, there was a trip on the post but it was hidden behind a locked panel accessible only to the club. However the post had not tripped. The water had entered somewhere and caused a fault. Our neighbours had the same problem. It was quickly rectified by the club when we told them.
Thanks Saxo1 for defending and reading my OP correctly. I did think I explained it properly.
