Hi there,
Recently I have seen references to a Karcher for wet pack ups but can't find the original posts.
I am interested to hear other people's experiences in using these.
I have a FC with acrylic. Is it worth buying one?
Cheers
Just found the original posts from Mr T, looks a good purchase.
Sorry for wasting time, should have looked before posting, although I did try the search function without success. Still it's pouring with rain and reading all the posts keep me occupied!
I bought a karcher from John Lewis for £45 and it's been useful on my canvas for getting the water droplets off. The canvas dries much quicker for pack-up once the vac has got 90% of the moisture off.
I'm so glad this is still going on as again, I've been in touch with karcher.
All I get is stupid replies, I've also tried getting it put into camping and caravan magazine, just so it helps in a wet pack up.
It's obviously never going to solve it, but it helps.
------------- Up there for thinking, down there for dancing. 😎
Chalk another one up for MrT007, ordered last night.
Bit of a result, mentioned it to the wife, by coincidence some friends of hers were saying how good it was for window cleaning (boring) but she was really keen. So I get one for the camper, wedding anniversary next month, do you think this will suffice?
A word of warning Do Not use a vacuum window cleaner on canvas if it has been used on windows as the window cleaning residue (ie window cleaning fluid) will remove the natural waterproofing of the Canvas.
Tony
