Evening all,
Does anyone own/know more about the Raclet Quickstop SE - I can't seem to find any info online, I think because its only manufactured for the UK but I am not sure on this.... I have found lots of info on the Quickstop but the SE seems to have more comfort - and it has won a 2015 caravan club award - just wondered if anyone had any reviews of it - or are they THAT new? Quite like the quickstop x-trail as well if anyone has a review of that also. We have just sold our conway trailer tent and we are wanting to upgrade to a folding camper but we are very limited on space so are weighing up different options, having 2 very young children we just want an easy set up - thanks for looking and for any replies.

The Quickstop, including the Quickstop, Quickstop X Trail and Quickstop SE is a UK only range, which is why it doesn't feature in any of the main Raclet brochures, web site etc.

Although the SE has won the 2015 award, it isn't THAT new. It came out over a year ago, and I remember seeing it at the October 2014 NEC show.

It's basically identical to the standard Quickstop, only with one or two enhancements. It has an upgraded kitchen, better seats (improved cushions (more akin to the Pennine ones) and seat backs). It also comes with mains electrics and a top opening fridge. Other than that, and the extra £1,100 price tag, it's pretty much identical to the standard Quickstop.

Yeah, like the idea of it having the seat backs like the folding campers - its small comforts like that that make the camping experience that little bit better. We are hoping there will be a few up for show at the NEC next month. Had a look at combi-camps last night and am also very impressed with them! So many options when you start digging around the internet! Mind you the width of them once stored looks quite big which is a big issue for us as we are very limited on storage space in my gdads garage.

The Quickstops will be at the show, as will the other Raclets, Combi Camps, Holt Kampers, Camplets, Triganos, Campmaster and Cabanons. Always worth a look, although you do tend to find that, as this is the Motorhome and Caravan Show, the folding campers and trailer tents all tend to be together in one hall. Great for finding everything, but, unless you're into motor homes or caravans, there's not a load on offer in the other halls (although the camping gear is always worth a look).

One thing you do find, with some models, is that they can be supplied with a side storage bracket, which allows you to pivot the TT on its side, when in a garage etc, so maybe worth looking at, if space is an issue.
