hi all im after a bit of advice.
i will be heading down south (wareham) for a forestry contract and i will be staying in my conway cruiser whilst i have spent a lot of time camping in this and my previous raclet liberty i have never left it up for this long (6 weeks or so) is there anything i need to think about doing that i wouldn't normally do i have had it up for 3 weeks at a time this year and had no problems but 6 weeks seems like a long time
thanks
mike
Hi, we often camp in our Conway for 3 months at a time, just take the time to tie down properly, including storm straps if you have any, and just turn your mattress every week to allow it to breathe. Other than that just enjoy the freedom.

Yes ... corner steadies will change over time ... might be worth taking an oil filled rad to keep the chill off .... can be left on all the time .... presume you will have EHU?
I've got the radiator I didn't think about it settling over time I might upgrade to hardstanding. Good point re the mattress and the storm straps ibwill have to gobbuy some. Any recommendations?
This is what I use. Be careful not to put it over the centre of a horizontal pole/support ... or it can bend them ... aim to go over the joints of uprights to horizontals .... a single, simple twist will stop flapping noise.
thanks i think i understand what you are trying to say do you mean put it at the edge of the camper near one of the walls? sorry if this sounds like a simple question i am but a simple man lol
Re storm straps ... yes, if you are doing the main cabin. You might need one for each side, to be very secure in a howling gale!
Usually, most folk only use a storm strap to secure awnings (is what we do), I've never bothered to do the main cabin ... others may advise on this, too ....
