Hi, I've just bought a scrap camplet trailer (It's a 1980, possibly GT but no model markings) for its braking system, I intend to transfer the axle and towgear onto my Royal as it appears to be a bolt on conversion - famous last words, but everything measures up OK. The trailer I've got has been stored on it's side for the last 5+ years and exposed to the elements, as verified by the rusty water that came out of the drum that was at the bottom. I want to strip the drums whilst it's still on the donor trailer to check the serviceability of them and adjust/repair as needed. One side can be turned by hand with the handbrake fully on, so something definately amiss. I can't find any instructions on-line (quick search only), and cant see how to remove the drums from the hubs. Any pointers will be gratefully received :-)
