To be fair, you do have a template. You have the Cardinal. All you need to do is set it up, measure the bedroom dimensions and reduce them by a couple of cm, to allow for an air gap. The pods are, usually, attached using plastic / metal hooks and a small length of elastic, so there is a little bit of flexibility affored by the elastic, itself. A lot of people use universal under bed tent pods, or, even, awning inner pods, but the issue there is that there is, usually plenty of excess material that needs to be tucked under the mattress. Bed pods are relatively easy to make, with a few sewing skills, although I would imagine the zips are a whole different ball game, but you have the curtains to close the bedroom off, anyway. As a starting point, the bed base of the Cardinal is 198cm long by 122cm wide.
