The Air Beam 6 was actually launched at the show, so, theoretically, available now, but, even if anyone does have one, I doubt they will have been able to try it out yet, to give an opinion. The Air Beam 6 is a porch awning designed for use with the current 6 berth models only (Pathfinder & Crusader (non slide out bed versions)). The plan is to make it available, shortly for the slide out bed models, then, eventually, for older models, like the Sterling & Pullman (and, potentially, the Q4). There are no plans to make avaliable for 4 berth models, as Pennine feel that the 4 berth model awnings are already fairly small and convenient to put up.

Looks nice. Presumably as its hook and strap fixing to the camper, not zipped, it may fit other campers. What do the hooks hook into.
http://pennineoutdoorleisure.co.uk/products/new/awning-porch-air-rrp-599-product.html
The hooks fit into the same holes in the camper poles as a standard awning does, then the straps wrap around those poles, to hold it in place, instead of a zip. There is also a double return flap that goes under the camper flap, on top, to ensure extra insulation from wind and rain.
Whilst you would think this would make it more universal (and there are, certainly, no zip compatibility issues) it doesn't, as the positioning of the straps etc need to be exact, and, hence, it is only, currently, available for the two models. Any subsequent models will have to be specifically adapted to retro fit to older campers.
It is very nice. I had a good look at it at the NEC, and have written a full review on it. £500 may seem a bit steep to some, but it's only £100 more than non matching competitors, and this is the only one specifically approved by Pennine, as it has been developed by them, in association with Camping International.
