Can anyone advise me which motor mover would fit a Gobur Carousel 10/2. A couple of companies I have emailed to enquire say they can't be fitted but as there are units on sale with them fitted it appears they can be.
Any advice on this would helpfull as all the other advice I have been given here has been very useful
Ring Richard Moss at Gobur and ask; you will not find a company more willing to help owners of his products be they original buyers, buyers of used Goburs or just interested potential buyers.
As we are 8 hours drive South with another 8 hours drive North from Gobur and at this time of the year the roads can turn nasty pretty quickly so we have tried local mobile fitters but nobody wants to know, most have not even heard of a Gobur Carousel. We have found one company who has agreed to fit the Powrtouch Classic so (hopefully) our problem is solved.
We can manually push it on level ground but we have a short area of grass we have to cross to the slabbed section which is our problem, fingers crossed this problem is behind us, or will be in a few days.

If not you can make life easier when going backwards manually. Simply part put the handbrake on and wiggle the hitch from side to side, and you will find the van moves magically backwards very much easier than pushing it backwards. It is a useful way to get a wheel up a leveling ramp if not too steep. Seems daft putting a brake on to make moving easier but a novel feature of the auto-reverse mechanism within each drum does bring with it that feature. Not a feature unique to Gobur.
