Who is this??

Yup. Still at it. Got three out there on the drive, at the moment, and 4 more in storage (3 of which are my own personal ones) so very much still in it.

Got married in Greece last year, so only got away 3 times in the camper, but looking to rectify that this year.

How goes the dark side?

The name rings a bell....

We're still going with the FC. We didn't get out in it much last year as our main holidays involved aeroplanes and villas. And we got a wood fired oven built in our garden so most fine weekends were spent feeding the vultures.

Hoping to get out in it more this year as the children aren't getting any younger and we're struggling to fit in without getting the third bed out (which I know we'll end up on). And no-one's volunteering to sleep in the awning either! So we feel our time left is limited.

Still here. Just deciding when to get it out of garage and put the soft furnishings back. We are going to have it fully serviced this year and replace the tyres as they are now 6 years old.
No plans to get away in FC yet Other than going to the RIAT airshow again in July.
We are occasional campers now fitting it between trips abroad and then only if weather set for fine, but we will definitely be going to Fairford for the airshow what ever the weather.
We still prefer camping under canvas.
Have you been away already in the 'tin tent'

Hope the chemo is going well John and you don't have too many rotten side efects...my husband is now on continuous, palliative chemo, which is reducing the tumours in the lymph, but we know it will never cure them. Anyway, we get away regardless, they let us have breaks whenever we want and I've taken on the care of his central line, so we're not tied to district nurses.

Hi there MrT007,
We've moved over to the darker side as you might already know, though often pop back to see if we can help anyone here on the TT,FC & FC section, having owned both TT's and FC's
We miss seeing 'our baby' Pennine Quartz 2+2 in the driveway, we had so much fun with her, sadly we had to trade her in for our Bailey Persuit Caravan.
It is sheer luxury, not having to go outside at night to share the FC's toilet tent with the slugs and wet grass slapping round our feet.
We only swapped to a caravan as setting up was getting harder and we were getting older and not so strong as we once were.
We've had one long Holiday and one short weekend away with the new van down to Devon, but have popped it into the Doctors for a few minor tweaks that are still under warranty. Unfortunately we could not fit it comfortably on our drive, so it is stored miles away from us, it all feels very odd at the moment as we are still getting use to owning her.
How are you doing Mr.T ?

We're going through the same process ...
Had two weeks 'trial' last month, then a couple of months in the summer.
Getting a mover fitted, as we found shifting her around was a bit of a challenge on some pitches.
It does offer a level of luxury we didn't have on the FC ... but it's a lot slower to tow ( on the continent) ... and I'm still getting used to it.
So much quicker to set up and pack up ...

Good to hear you are enjoying your new caravan Kelper and taken it abroad too.
Our set up time has got quicker each time, hoping to better it again next time. :)
We've have had the movers fitted once again, same as on our FC, though we've hardly needed to use it, the pitches have both been flat ground so far. Also the caravan doesn't have to be turned 180 degrees like our (door at the rear end,) FC, but the movers do help when fitting the wheel lock and what a fiddly game that is.
