Wind was the one thing we hated. Spent a few windy nights in our Conway crusader although I have t admit it stood up well.
More than anything else it's the shaking I couldn't stand as I always felt shaken up in the mornings. It's obviously noisy too.
Don't let it out you off. You will realise your own tolerance level. Good luck!
I have just got back from a very wet and windy north wales, and I survived. The only mishap we had was when a 2ft.steel peg from the caravan awning from the next pitch came through the top of my awning and the window of my Conway cruiser. It landed on the seat next to me.😀
Spent last Sunday night being buffeted in our Tin top at Salisbury C&CC site. There were two folders on site, A Crusader and a pathfinder. They had just the unit up but had put awning straps over the top of their units. Spoke to them after and said they had no problems. (Unlike a couple of vanners who chose not to take their awnings down.
I remember the first night we spent in our Cruiser a few years back was windy. It was blowing onto the front of the unit. When we got up next morning, the wardrobe had slid some distance along it's mounting.
