Hi all. So we are finally going to take our fc out in a couple of weeks time. This will be our first ever trip and my first time camping. I think ive got everything we need apart from the storm tie down kit. I ordered one off ebay to go over the awning but i want to know do i need one that goes over the camper also? Sorry very new to this so i want to be prepared. We are hoping to go to barmouth and if its very windy i want to know what i should be doing.   Thank you

we used our new to us fc at Easter I put 2 straps on one on the awning one on the camper, it held everything together well I don't know if it would have been a different story had I not been so cautious but for the sake of about 20 quid and a couple of minutes work my mind was at rest atleast

Our camper is not new but new to us also. I will order another one. It will put my mind at rest. Did you put the awning one over the canvass or just over the poles. And the one over the camper did you put it length ways. Sorry it may seem a stupid question but its just me fretting about our first time going im a little nervous about it all . Thank you.

Hi
I bought 2 storm kits, one goes over the awning and another over the camper.... just to be on the safe side.

Hopefully, neither will ever be needed and not sure it does any good but it helps me sleep better at night.

Both go on length ways over the top of the canvas.

Good Luck!
