I have Pennine sterling 510 camper and need a mover are the electric jockey wheels any good the problem with the movers that are on the wheels just cost to much as we don't have any power we have to go on hookup the price we were given all done was just under £1,000.00 the jockey wheel will only cost about 200 to 300 pounds can anyone help ???????

We've just had a Rhyno mover fitted to our Pennine Pullman and that was £695. It's £100 cheaper I think if you take it to them , they are based in Coventry. We had one on a Countryman before and had no problems. You do need to have a leisure battery though.

Apparently the jockey wheel type are roughly on a par with chocolate tea pots, from a performance perspective. Absolutely fine on firm flat ground, but very little additional power, and wont cope with wet grass, gravel, or any kind of slope, unfortunately.

I know a few people who have used them, and they all say exactly the same thing, I'm afraid.

I've heard that if you stand on the tow bar, close to the MJW, you get hugely improved traction.
Could be worth trying.

OK thanks now do need it for flat tarmac surface to put in garage but would they be OK for decline which would be on a concrete ground and would the break work OK on that

I'm afraid I can't answer that ... can you 'borrow' one for a trial ... or buy on a sale or return basis for twenty four hours? Or ask for a demo, either on your trailer or in similar environment.
The brake should be OK on an incline ... you can always 'chock' the wheels for extra safety.
