Hi, we always seem to encounter problems and we use our camper. First one - hot water tank filling up, lovely hot water, next time no hot water seems like an empty tank?
Second one - the zip has broken on the canvas, the zip that goes all the way around the bed to zip on the underbed skirt. So, do we have the zip replaced (if it is at all possible) or do we just opt for a brand new canvas. This is a 2006 unit. Has anybody had any of these problems with their camper and what solved it.
Before anybody says to me, 'just go without your bed skirt' I will say no, it was quite cold at the weekend with the cold wind blowing under my bed and also without the awning up everything we were storing was on show and open to whatwever weather was thrown at us. I like the underbed skirts and find them invaluable. If anybody has had the zip replaced please could you tell me where you had it done or if you have had the canvas replaced. We have an 18 day holiday booked to France at the end of July and I would like both problems sorted before then.

Hi, give tent valeting services from Bolton a ring and they will sort your zip out no problem ( they recovered our crusader last year, great job)
Ref your hot water are you checking that your switch is on ( we always switch our heater off after about 1 hour and turn it back on when needed, do you vent your tank,by opening the valve by heater for a few seconds to make sure you do not have an air lock, other than that would suspect dodgy switch / solenoid.
