Just back from our first holiday in the new camplet 2 Go.
Just a couple of niggles:-
When it's set up there is a huge gap beneath the bedrooms which sit on the trailer. Just. A bit worried that this could attract unwelcome 4 legged visitors in the night.. Also I would imagine drafty in the spring and autumn. Is .there a skirt that fits on to the ground sheet making a continuous seal around the awning area. There is certainly a Velcro strip on the ground sheet.
Also when taking down the tent, there is a small brass ball which sits on a spring inside the kitchen pole section. This keeps the kitchen section pole in it's correct position. This sprang out and disappeared in the grass. Can this be fitted back somehow.
Apart from that everything was perfect. Great set up even in torrential rain and thunderstorms of which we had plenty of!
Hope someone can help.
When we looked at the Camplet at the camping show at the NEC last year there is a wardrobe you can hang between the two beds. Made of same material as the bedroom linings and has a hanging rail.
As said above, there should be a rear skirt that goes right across the back of the trailer and attaches with press studs at the bottom of the beds,it can then be pegged down and your ground sheet laid on top, it also zips to the awning at the sides to seal it all up. On most camplet models the skirt also incorporates a underbed zip up storage area on the left hand side, take a look at some of the camplet videos on youtube and you will see what i mean. Not sure about the brass ball as i've not seen one on my older camplet. Hope this helps

------------- If it wasn't for the last minute nothing would get done
Definitely a draft skirt. Probably to buy as an additional extra. We have one that came with our second hand camplet. It has a zip up storage box attached that clips up onto the bars of the roof of the trailer (which are under the second bed when opened out) giving quite a large storage bag for extra space.
The draught skirt comes as standard. It attaches with press studs to the trailer and lid sections with a storage area under the lid section then zips down the sides of the canvas.
Don't know about the brass ball. Best bet would be to phone Camperlands in Manchester and ask them for advice. They'd be able to tell you / source spare etc. im sure.
