Our camper is mainly green in colour, and my mrs thinks it looks a bit out of date compared with the new ones.
Today she has said why cant we dye the canvas black and grey. Ive never heard of anyone doing it so does anyone know is it possible or not

I don't know how it would affect the canvas, but it would be an industrial job!!! How would you do it?

You could ask if there is a dye that you cold add to reproofing chemicals/ wax which could be sprayed on to canvas with garden spray ( I have used garden spray to reproof awning but not change colour) How you would manage to make two tone no Idea as different colours are sewn together when made. It's not something you could mask off like re-praying a car ??

Don't you just love these wonderful ideas our other halves just throw out, usually accompanied with that wonderful phrase " it will only take about 10 minutes"

Sounds a major mission to me and would it end up patchy?
If it works you could be doing it every year.

I know it's not the same but we viewed a convertible car where the guy had dyed the canvas soft top from blue to black - it didn't look great at all, it was patchy and the colour either just hadn't really taken properly or had faded / weathered out again.
