Hi, this is my first post on the forum, can anybody help me with my Trigano Randger 575TC, while on holiday the taps in the kitchen and the bathroom both stopped working, but the toilet still flushes, so pump is ok, the weard thing is if I switch both taps on nothing happens until I flush the toilet and water comes out of the taps and the toilet, so I'm thinking pumps ok pipes are ok and electric is ok so what could it be? I think both taps stopped working at the same time, we have had the camper for 5 years and this is the first time we have had any major problems. Trying to get info from Trig is like gettting blood from a stone.

Any help will be much apprieciated.

It sounds like the microswitches in the taps have stopped working. It may just be bad connections so check that first, if cleaning and wiggling doesn't cure the problem you may have to take the tap apart to check which microswith you need. There is probably more help on taps and microswitches on the caravan repair forum if you do a search on there.

You may also get some help on the owners group on Yahoo, getting help from Trigano is a non starter.

Thanks Rob, any idea what could have caused both to fail at once?
I was a member of the trig owners club before it was at yahoo, there was a lack of interest I remember and the club just seem to disbanded, I also seem to remember getting some iffy emails at the time. When I tried to rejoin when it moved I didnt get any reply's and then a few months later I tried again and I think I was refused, still dont know why? Posted a bit of tech data as well, still got quite a lot of original paperwork with camper.

Anyway thanks very much for info.

As both have gone I would check the wiring first to make sure you have 12 volts in all the right places, something may have squashed a cable and broken it. The microswitches on our caravan were quite cheap at the local caravan shop so it may be worth getting a couple of switches anyway.

I remember all those dodgy emails too. I seem to remember that a young lady was very keen to meet me, she obviously hasn't seen me or realised how skint I am!
