We bought a second hand folding camper which came with a wheel lock, but I can't figure out how the wheel lock works. It's a big long heavy yellow metal thing which has a round key hole on one side and two large lugs on the other side of de which seem to line up with the wheel nuts.
I've had a google but can't find anything useful. If anyone has any ideas that would be great. :)
Sounds like the 'official' Pennine one. Only ever seen one example of that, in the flesh.
If it is, then they replace two of the wheel nuts with special ones that attach to the wheel lock. This explains why the lugs line up with your wheel nuts.
I would check your wheels, to see if two of the eight wheel nuts are different. If they are, you should find the two lugs you are referring to attach to them, then lock on.

Have a look through this selection of trailer wheel clamps in the link below to see if you can identify the type you have. If you can find it and confirm which type it is then the correct advice can be given.
It does go over special wheel nuts. Can't believe I never noticed them. Looks like a great lock, unfortunate I can't get any if the keys supplies to work with it, so I got a new wheel lock. :(

Thought that might be the case. The wheel nuts aren't that obvious. Took me a while to realise it. Shame, because the genuine Pennine ones are quire rare. Glad you got it sorted, though.

We purchased our conway countryman direct from pennine at the show in February. We live in Worcester and travelled to the factory in Accrington to pick ours up and I am so glad I did. I got to see where they are made and all the different production stages they go through etc. Julie & nick have been great help and nothing ever seems to be a problem. Nick gave us a full demonstration which lasted a good 1.5hrs so we got to know everything.

I think you might have posted this in the wrong thread!
