I suppose like many of you, this weekend will be my first time out with my new trailer tent. We practiced putting up the main awning poles a week or so ago, but this is it, (the countdown's starting). Is it just me. that is getting that excited tingle, as when I was a boy on Xmas eve waiting for the big day to arrive. There is a magic in the air when we set out for the first camping trip of the year and this year we go with our new t/t that we have saved long and hard for (yes my xmas has arrived). If you are going out for the first time this weekend, good luck, no arguing when the poles dont appear to go together right the first time, or you put the awning up inside out.  I hope the weather is with you wherever you go and may I wish you all a trouble free weekend

Hope the weather is fine as well and goodluck Daley ,ENJOY.We away as well till Monday ,our 2nd trip in new camper , we are experts now ,NOT!!.We send kids off to play on playground while we stop and argue about what goes where.

Lets see this time if OH can reverse me back safely this time without me reversing into towbar and then telling me to stop , i could have guessed that myself ,the sudden stop gave it away and the quiet thud of the hitch connecting with the bumper , which might i add had only been replaced 2 months b4 after a skip lorry couldn`t squeeze past .At least we gave the fellow campers something to laugh about .

Here`s to a great long weekend
