Hi there all and good evening,

Any help would be so appreciated! I have a trigano randger Tc 2000, its currently up on my driveway 12 v working perfectly. Plugged in mains which have always worked before, but checked fuse anyhow. Changed all fuses in main electric box under seat all right amp fuses still tripping. No damp whatsoever in camper, the only thing I can think that got slightly wet were towing plugs as they fell out of holder on the main trailer and were lying slightly in a shallow puddle, I dried these as much as I could and have hung these upside down under trailer to dry out for two days now, could this be the problem?
Like I said any help/advice would be so appreciated
Many thanks Louise

You will have fuses and a main braker which is an RCD. Its probably that which is tripping. It will have nothing to do with the12v system. You probably need an electrician to sort it as there may be an earth short or a faulty RCD. If you dont know anything about electrics best not to play with it. IT CAN KILL .

JCele52
I can't thank you enough, for your reply, what would be the chances of exactly the same model and same problem!!
UNBELIEVABLE,
Its been annoying me for days, I've got a sparky coming this afternoon, Mates rates (a bacon sarnie and a cup of coffee lol) will tell him this as soon as he arrives.
Many thanks for your reply 👌👍👍👍☺
Knockdolian, will definitely let everyone know of the outcome.
THANKYOU

When you say 'towing plugs' does that mean a black one and a grey one. The grey one might cause the problem you have as it's linked to the charger which is also linked to the mains.

Thankyou for your reply navver,
That's exactly what I thought, but had a sparky out and its definitely the RCD unit/plug/fuse? Thingy what ever there called lol but many thanks for your reply👍

Jcele52,
Could you please tell me where you bought your RCD thingy!the make/model and price you paid, If you don't mind me asking that is! Only have been to three electrical shops, and they don't stock them, and I'm beggining to pull my hair out😵☺
As I have no knowledge of Electrics whatsoever, think I've more than confused and pickled the heads of many folks these last few days about these RCD thingy's.
PLEASE, PLEASE help ☺

Your electrician should be able to obtain the correct RCD from his supplier.

Hi Bernie47 and thanks for your reply, It was my Other half's mate who kindly checked everything in his dinner hour break and said it was easy to replace with a cost of around £8 (bargain!!!) Took switch down to 3 difrent electric supplier's 1st one actually supplied me with one that looked simarlar at a cost of £1.80 nearly danced around shop 😂 brought it home pleased as punch, and hubby and mate were in stitches😳 apparently with the switch/fuse RCD thingy supplied to me, the only one dancing would of been me through being electrified 😄😂.
It was a CED(make) B10. 230/400v~.
I'm going to try to upload image of original broken RCD in a post now, as its stored already in my gallery images.

Hi
I think screwfix might have the rcd too.
It's no problem I'm happy to help. The advice we received on here after buying our randger was invaluable. It's great that there are so many knowledgeable and helpful people around. Hope you get it sorted out asap. Our randger has just had its last outing for this year, we are hoping to have a new cabin canvas made.
