hi we bought a second hand pennine aztec and some of the pins in the end of the poles for the awning were missing and others keep droping out so i made some new ones to fit. now not sure if they should be fixed in to the ends solid (ie glued in )or do they need to have a bit of play so you can twist the pole sick of them droping out while trying to put the awning up. lol coz i lose my temper so the other half says

oh and by the way can you get light weight poles for them

if they are the type of thing in the below link then they should just be pushed into the pole as they are in effect sprung to hold in place

No sorry it's the pins in the end of the pole that goes into the camper and the vertical poles at the front to build the frame like an L shape
