An oil filled radiator is a pretty much essential part of my kit when going away in the colder weather.
It's the only heater you can, safely, leave on over night, if you need to. I, also, find mine is plenty for keeping the camper warm in the evening, as well.
That said, they aren't as quick to warm up as most other forms of heating, so I always had a second little heater to take the chill of first. I've now installed a plinth heater, which is great for warming the camper up quickly, then I tend to use the oil filled rad, to keep the temperature nice and consistent.
