I was just wondering how people roll back the cover off their campers when setting up, my efforts have been woeful so far ! Ha ha
It's either too thick to clip back or the ends are sticking out the sides to far ! Any advice ?
Practice, practice, practice.
Just have a few goes at it, I know that's what we did, and it all turned out well in the end.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

Fold in half, i.e. pull backline to level with front.
Then again, to quarter it
Then take the two outside top corners and fold them down to where the cover is fixed ... leaving two triangular shaped spaces ... or, creating a trapezium shaped folded cover ... fold in further than you think ... i.e don't leave anything hanging outside the width of the camper.
Then roll from the furthest point ... may mean standing on something to reach.
Works for us.
There is certainly a knack to folding / rolling it. My first few trips I really struggled to get it rolled so I had no sides sticking out. On one trip I got so frustrated I covered the ends with large polythene bags in case it rained. My attempts are a bit better now and I fold it like Kelper describes. My poor attempts are normally when there are dark clouds above and I'm hurrying to beat the rain.
Have to say, folding is hugely helped by warm ambient temperatures ... folding on a cold day is much more difficult .... on a warm day the plastic is much more pliant!
Is why we always camp on the continent!
