Hi, it's a doddle just undo the bolt and nut joining centre vertical bar and pull out the horizontal bar from one end. (you may have to push in a button) depending on year of model , attach new bar to that end and repeat operation to other end , try and have an extra pair of hands available to help. Finish by putting nut and bolt together.
Job should take less time than it does for the kettle to boil
