just got back from a fantastic weekend altho a bit wet at times but we met a lovely couple and there young son who we spent most evenings with either outside there camper or ours. both our boys wouldnt have a shower as they were having to much fun playing ball so we got some bowls and a stacker box and put them outside in there shorts with a bar of soap. i found it really upsetting going seperate ways with our new friends but weve swapped numbers and gonna meet up again while camping

thanks everyone who said we should keep the camper we r ready for a full weeks camping now

we were at the ruthin duck race!! excellent for kids i can tell you! only just got them clean now!! brilliant weekend all round!

we have a seasonal pitch in barmouth now mexman and mary

we have the same pitch and we go every other weekend and we now get a discount as we r regulars and dont have to pay for our awning and it the camper gets soacked thru the warden will pack it away when it dries out. for a beer or 2 i expect

Jo - that sounds like a good deal!! I dread the thought of all that wet canvas to pack away - to had to encounter that yet!

Mary - hope it wasn't the lack of trousers at elvaston last year that put hubby off!
