As anybody thought about putting thicker mattresses on there Conway countryman. We would like to put a thicker one on for a bit more comfort. Any ideas ?

We bought toppers for our pathfinder mattresses, very snug and comfy.

Memory foam toppers lovely too, available from dunelm.

We bought 2.5 cm thick mattress toppers for our Countryman. We only bought one small double size (4ft by 6ft) and cut it in half which gave one for each bed. We found we only needed the extra comfort on the middle third of the beds. There is no trouble folding the camper with the toppers in place.

I used my Tesco clubcard points to purchase a mattress topper. Didn't need to pay anything and now have better nights sleep.

We've gone for a SIM under the mattress in the TT. Do feel the difference.

I was lucky enough to win a Duvalay sleeping bag in the advent Calender competition...hoping that makes my mattress more comfy as I have found it too firm in the past.

After emailing pennine to find out if they do a thicker mattress option I was given the contact details of the company that supply them with the internal furnishings for the countryman. I contacted them and after a few emails I have now ordered a 4 inch thick mattress rather than the standard 3 inch but it will also be made from a denser foam. It will come in my existing countryman colour scheme to at what I believe is a very competitive price. I have followed pennines advise and only ordered the thicker mattress for the side that closes first as this side has the most clearance. The mattress should be ready in under 3 weeks so will let you know what it is like when I get it from there factory.

We too use memory foam mattress toppers in our Pennine Fiesta, and they are wonderful, so comfortable. We leave one of them on the bed when we fold up the camper, and remove and roll the other, which goes in between the seating areas. No problems folding the camper.

I bought 2 4ft small double toppers which are the perfect size. They are 2 inches thick, which is plenty.
