Jan,
if you want a copy, just drop me an email to

We might be sued by Bernard, for breach of copyright, or something though, but I'm sure we could settle out of court for a few gallons of green dye !

Cheers,

Declan - your signature is FAB!!  I'm glad everybody had awning successs this weekend - we had car buying success, and will (hopefully) no longer get stuck in fields as we have bought a Discovery!!  Will be getting it either this coming weekend or sometime early the following week - can't wait!!! (and to avoid any further arguements, it is neither green nor blue, but a nice evil 'get out of my way, I'm bigger than you' black!!!)

Hi guys and girls, we bought a Stirling at the end of last season and got a lot of great advice from this site.  We have just booked our first trip of the year for the Easter weekend.  We plan to use the awning and side skirts for the first time, I am hoping Scampi's advice is just as relevant for the Stirling.

I will let you know how I get on, thanks in advance to Scampi.

Why don't camper manufacturers give out nice clear awning instructions like this?  Perhaps they could also colour code the pole sections as well.

Hi Brian,
That would make it too easy

I can see it now ... little coloured rubber rings which just fit the poles perfectly... match up the colours, and everything is hunky dorey.

Hmmm.. I feel a new career coming on .. how many awning owners would buy that I wonder ?

Cheers,
Declan
