Hello, I'm a 'Newbie' to the site and wondered if anyone could help. I've recently bought an Opus trailer tent which is an ex demonstrator and has no interior or canvases. This will be a project for me (mainly hubby! 😀). Is there anyone in the Nottinghamshire/Lincolnshire area who had an Opus that I could take a look at and get some ideas? Thanks. Tash

The Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show is being held at the NEC in February. Opus might be there so you could look round another unit. I'm sure they would confirm either way if you contacted them.

I do not understand why your opus has ended up with no canvas or interior But heres a link to a dealer & some pictures of how it should be.
sounds very strange, i hope you got a huge discount.
i feel like this will be a particulary expensive or maybe even impossible task.
first thing i would to is contact opus directly for a price/avaliability of a replacement canvas.
im not sure a pattern equivalent would exist and paying someone to sew a new one, and would incure extorbant cost.
interior, is it literally empty, or has seats, cupboards etc. in that case getting foam cut and covered is something not too difficult with a sewing machine, google a local place and they can advise on what kind would suit .
i do feel this may be destined to only be a handy camping trailer rather than a tent.
although if you could find an old canvas tent of a similar footprint it may be adaptable, but its never going to be as easy to erect, or pack away or even waterproof. :(
Thank you for your input. I am currently speaking to Opus re a replacement canvas :) With regard to interior, I am currently looking at at foam and making my own covers (as you suggested. The actual trailer was too cheap to pass up on and even if it is only used as a camping trailer.

I have used myfabric.co.uk in the past for seat covers, get a 5£ voucher for email registration too.
Hope opus are not extortionate in pricing canvas replacement 😀
