After some feedback on this model, seems to be so little feedback about.

Apparently there is no feedback but maybe you would like to leave your own feedback on this page related to the Camplet Premium.

We've got a camplet classic, one model down I think from the Premium.

There are lots of posts about Camplet but they're mixed within other threads.

Are you needing information on anything specific?

I guess just general thoughts so far would be useful.

I'm especially interested if the awning is fully zipped on groundsheet, sides and roof but I don't think the awning is available on the classic?

How do you deal with the kitchen being so close to the bedroom pods when you're cooking bacon etc, does it not create an issue?

Any general thoughts on yours, how long does it take you to get it all up?

None of the groundsheets zip in on a camplet as I said on your other thread.
We will cook as we did in the tent and always cook bacon etc outside on the cadac.

How do you prevent wind etc coming up from the main groundsheet as it joins the walls of the tent?

It seems to me you havent yet seen a camplet in the flesh?

Go on to utube and type in "camplet trailer tent. there are a good few films on there showing full procedure for putting them up.

We brought our classic from camperlands 3 years ago but only used it 4 times in One season as i had serious health issues. Hoping this year to get back into it.

Like evrything there are pros and cons. To answer a couple of questions, having the kitchen where it is is really not a problem. The burner stove has a wrap around metal guard. Never been an issue for us, but remember you're basically in a tent so everyone has to be aware. And the window behind the cooker opens for ventilation.

Regarding drafts, well i think a zig is bumbersome and not really necessary. The walls of the tent not only have guy ropes but also skirts which are pegged to the ground.. Never been an issue for us.

We love the camplet. Use the kitchen all the time but sometims cook outside if its not too windy. Everyting is there and ready. I think its very clever.

Regarding beds, they are both the same size and quite big. If fact the whole tent is big given its arrangement and with your proposed annex should be fine. Larger than a caravan in floor space for sure. And i can store the whole lot in my garage so no storage fees.

I think others on here go for other types of units because the camplet is quite expensive but i think it is a quality product as long as you buy a 5th generation with acrylic material.

It probably takes 30 minutes or so to erect properly, and say another 30 minutes to set up tables, chairs, bedding and the like. But it all goes together very simply and its very durable.

Consider a storage box on the A frame to carry cylinders guy ropes, mallet etc, everything you'll need to set up.

We fit a box to the roof rack for all the cumbersume, but light stuff such as pillows, sleeping bags etc. Everything else, clothes etc is packed in the car in plastic storage boxes so we can carry into th tnt easily. We just stack them in a corner and access them when we need to.

Hope some of this helps.

I have had my Camplet Concorde for a good few years now and, as a widower, now camp on my own (if you don't count the dog!) I have always put the camplet up on my own and have never found any difficulty. Obviously it takes a little longer than if there were two of you, but that is about all.

I too pitch my Concorde single handed sometimes. Regarding not many reviews for the "Premium" that's because they changed models about 3 years ago, it's forerunner would be the Royal.
