Hi guys, Iv just got my first folding camper and I'm curious about the beds, it might souond daft but the one at the back doesn't seem safe to me? Or is it safer than it looks? Or am I just been crazy?

Not sure what you mean by safe.

Both beds ... front and back, have supporting struts ... as long as theses are in good nick, the beds are safe?

The struts are all there yes, I just feel that it might tip over as there's nothing supporting the bed to the ground, the struts are held on at the back of the trailer with the legs down. I think it's just me over thinking!

Have you pulled out the two supporting bars at the bottom of the rear of the camper, the rear bed support bar should sit on those,and does not touch the ground?

A quick flick through these pictures will show bed support struts on various models of the Pullman.

No support struts ever touch the ground.

I always have a fear we are going to tip over, especially when OH is trying to clamber out at night for a wee!

When we first got our Pathfinder I worried bout the same thing. I am a hefty girl and was convinced I would tip the camper. Now 6 years on I don't even think about it, and I'm still hefty.
