So with a 3rd dog added to our pack it's a bit much relying on family to dog-sit whilst where away on walking hols. My lady can't stand the thought of being in a tent - a bad experience at Glastonbury in the early 70's (Hawkwind headlined)I think - second marriage so we don't bring it up often.
Hello to everybody and that's my dilemma so I thought a trailer tent would be a good compromise. I've read through the Conway owners club stuff: brilliant info, and watched a few YouTube videos so I have a bit of an idea, but thankfully middle years have enabled me to understand that I know little about anything. So to those who have the knowledge I am already in your debt.
It's our first venture so I only want to spend around a £1000, give or take, that way it's not too much to lose if it's not for us. At that price point I'm guessing condition is everything so please can you tell me the pit-falls, known problems etc that I should look out for?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Also look at folding campers - my personal preference over a TT - but each to their own. Should be able to find something in your price-range. Oct onwards is when they get really cheap again I have found, now for the rest of summer you will be up against others also wanting to buy them
