Hi we recently bought an old Pennine Aztec folding camper. When I put it up the other day and attached the awning I was left with this set of poles. I thought that this was some kind of ridge pole but couldn't see where it would go or attach to. I look forward to your help, many thanks Paul

I have the same on a Pennine Pullman.
If you look at the awning edge nearest the zip you should see a sleeve for it to go through, plus at the end of the awning roof poles nearest the hook you should see plastic location clips for it to sit in.
You then tension the awning between the two ends rather than putting tension on the cabin canvas.
Hope this makes sense..... Roughly where the solid black line is on the left of this diagram....

Many thanks dad1uk for your help. I did notice the plastic clips but didn't pay them enough attention lol. I did notice 1 or 2 was broken so will have to see if there are spares available.
Cheers Paul
