has anyone ever used the beds without putting the bed supports up, this has happened to me when my daughter used the camper, the beds are now very hard to slide in and out, can anyone advise what action to take to repair this

you'll need to try and straighten out the bed slides.....either by bending them in situ by lifting the bed up or removing the and giving them the good news with a rubber mallet :)

if they are past straightening then some new ones will be needed unless you put up with them as they are

Yes, been there, done that.
They are quite thick steel so doing anything useful with a mallet or vice would be difficult. After living with the bent slides for a couple of seasons I bit the bullet and bought replacement slides from Pennine. They're not difficult to replace, you need a 10mm (I think) socket. It's worth doing, so much easier to slide now.
