Hi,

I have an old pop up Coleman camper of the type that you wind up with an internal pulley system. One of my springs has broken (my fault😟). Does anyone know of any where who will be able to fix it for me? I'm in Hampshire but I'm guessing I am going to have to travel to someone.

the spring that goes from the floor track to the base of the lift arm?

How did you manage that?

And what length is the spring? I have a complete spare lift system bu not sure if Coleman use the L&W lift system, if its internal I guess it is but not 100%

Thanks for replying. I was winding it up but hadn't undone one of the latches properly and I think the strain was too much for it.

I think it might be a cable gone rather than a spring, if that makes sense? I don't know much about the lift system or the camper to be honest as I haven't had it long. I'm also not confident about fixing it myself as I don't know what I'm doing and, from what I've read, I get the impression that it's not that easy.

If its a cable then it should be a relatively straight forward job to do......

First thing is to find out what lift system your model uses, L&W, Goshen etc.
