We have the tent up and it's fine - well tested now with rain yesterday. One question though. From the trailer cabin section, there is a section which attaches to the ceiling with the pockets in. When we step down from the central area, we have all so far tripped over this - I can't see an obvious way to attach it to the trailer body. The YouTube video suggests it velcros, but ours which is a couple of years later don't have velcro. I've duct taped it for now, but am I missing something?

If I understand correctly you are talking about about the gap between the rear of the trailer and the bit that zips to the floor? We have never had a problem with this. As the centre peg to hold down the ZIG also keeps it in place. There is also a vanity flap which pops on the rear Ed of the floor and has bands to pull it out. Never really found it of any purpose but it does have Velcro on it to link with the top panel above the ZIG.

BTW this centre peg is my reference point for pegging out. Place the centre peg in line and centred on the trailer and then pull out and peg out the centre sides and then square the front corners out from there.

I'm sure you have put the tent up and down a few times now but the critical manoeuvres are the lifting of the main canvas and the folding of the beds. When bed folding make sure you have put away the retracting poles properly as you won't feel these if they are stuck out when you fold over the beds and end up bending them.

With the main canvas lift use two people moving together to prevent any twist. Support the weight by holding on to both the poles and canvas. Once over have the little helpers hold the front corners or peg out the guys to prevent any gusts of wind catching the canvas until everything is zipped together.

We have been out in all weathers and it is a strong tent once up.

Thanks - great advice. We seem to be missing some Velcro so I'll need to retrofit that. I'll take your advice on centring - thanks!
