I'm interested in how everyone stores their clothes in their folding campers?
We have a 2003 pennine pullman. We have just come back from a two week holiday in Cornwall and storing our clothes neatly was a pain.
I usually put everything in the seat lockers in baskets or sports bags. One locker for the kids and one for OH and I. OH has one arm so its a right pain for him to get anything. Its not to bad for the kids but even with baskets it becomes a jumbled, creased mess.
I like things tidy
We still have the wardrobe and use it as a wardrobe - its a handy space.
OH wants to store clothes in the awning in a folding wardrobe etc. However the awning does often get damp/condensation so all the clothes would get damp plus I don't really have the space to store a wardrobe unit.
I had thought about something like this, however we don't really have the room to pack the drawers anywhere unless we can fit some inside the wardrobe. Would need to check the width of the wardrobe.
We have a three drawer version of the Argos drawers for the kids and the adults get large drawers from muji. These go in the back of the car when travelling and under the bed skirts when at the site. No clothes stored inside the camper apart from pyjamas; we have just not found a good place for them.
Ours is a 2014 unit and we haven't had any problems with damp. I do put the drawers on top of a plastic box lid when expecting rain in case the water gets underneath.
Thats not a bad idea work shy. We have a bed skirt on the back of our unit - there isnt a zip sewn on for a skirt at the front. I have a few really useful boxes that I could try - all depends on if we can fit it al uin the car!
We use a breathable carpet/groundsheet in the awning. OH thinks we need something like a footprint underneath this to stop any damp but I though all groundsheets had to be breathable :/
My husband made a hanging wardrobe for the awning. Two poles(with the bracket that has the wing nut to tighten to pole) from right hand side awning pole ( at the edge of the smaller bed) and a pole hanging across them, then a zipped cover that has top and sides but no bottom. It is long enough for trousers and dresses(adult size) stops dust and creases and in five years we have never had damp clothes. It hangs next to the cabin has space under it and doesn't invade on the floor space beneath it. For our t.shirts and other folded clothes we bought a soft four drawer chest. Lamp make it I think? Got it from a caravan/camping shop or I believe you can buy them on line.

Most campsites seem to want breathable GS in awning nowadays, but they don't 'have' to be.
I don't particularly see why there will be problem with damp in the awning. We've tent camped for many years and the clothes never seem damp.
Can't help with storage though. We just use holdalls and stuff them in the underseat space or in the wardrobe. But we aren't bothered about neatness or folding ec. :-)
I have two of the collapsible cupboards each has 3 shelves and pockets on the sides. They just pull up and click into place in seconds. They have hard tops so are handy to place things on. They go completely flat and come in their own bag. I always roll clothes easier to pack and keeps the creases away and neat and tidy. I just lift the rolls out of the case and stack them in the cupboards which stand in the awning. Before I bought them I used the collapsible baskets and rolled all the clothes and stacked them in the awning.
I use the wide 3 drawer plastic units. I pack the clothes in at home and stand the whole lot in the back of our car like that. We have an estate car so probably not so easy in a hatchback/saloon. Just lift it into the awning when pitched and that's it.

We also took out the wardrobe unit. It really frees up the inside of the camper and is very useful to stack bottles, etc. We use a collapsible wardrobe in the awning. Prior to that, everyone had a soft bag and they were also stacked in the awning or at the end of the children's beds.
