Just thinking of buying a new T/Tent (Raclet Solena)

Has anyone got any good/bad reports for this T/Tent.

Also can it be towed by a 1.4 petrl Ford Fiesta.

I'm also thinking of buying a Solena , but I'm a bit put off by the prices of the extras. With the Awning , the sun canopy and extra bedroom, its around £3,000 new. Secondhand ones seem to a bit scarce.

I think with t/t's you really get what you pay for.Maybe 2nd hand Raclets are scarce because people tend to hang on to them  ??. A top quality t/t is a great investment for the future. Good luck

We have just bought a new Raclet T/T, I havnt towed it yet but Hubby as he says it very nice to tow and easy that was with a Mk2 cav 16.000 cc.

You'll have no problems towing it with the Fiesta. In comparison to the larger Conwy's & Pennines, they are very light.

They look a really nice TT. I notice you can get zip on bedroom extensions for the awning.

Hello.............  We have a Raclet Trailer Tent and have been very happy with it. Have looked at The Solena as we no longer need a large T T as the children are grown up now. They are a fairly new model so that is why there are not many second hand Solena's at the moment. Happy Camping

 hi we have a raclet solena very good trailer tent ,quick to erect ,very light to tow we use 1400 saxo no problems,we looked at loads of trailer tents it may be slightly dearer but better quality ,do yourself a favour buy one second hand ,1 was advitised on ebay last week reserved at £1400 ,with plenty of extras ,hope this helps you.

After a lot of dithering we've finally taken the plunge and ordered a new Solena. Expecting to pick it up end of next week
