We dont use our FC late in the year so dont get too much condensation. Even so I always lift up the mattress slightly during the day to allow air to circulate as you can get a build up of moisture between the mattress and the bed boards even during the summer months. I find a tin of beans or something similar holds up the mattresses sufficently to let them air.
